"HONG KONG, March 14, 2008 ¨C Celestial Pictures today announced the release of romantic classic Behind the Yellow Line in Blu-ray format in April 2008. Behind the Yellow Line is the first Celestial¡¯s Shaw Brothers film to be launched in the high-definition home entertainment format.
The release of this renowned Hong Kong romantic comedy in Blu-ray will also commemorate the legend of Leslie Cheung, one of the most popular Chinese artists from Hong Kong, who passed away on April 1, 2003. Leslie Cheung led a hugely successful film and music career in Hong Kong and was touted one of Asia¡¯s biggest superstars.

Behind the Yellow Line has more new stars on the verge of superstellar careers than virtually any other Hong Kong drama. Internationally acclaimed actors - Lesile Cheung, Maggie Cheung and Anita Mui ¨C starred in the movie originally released in 1984. The movie garnered various industry recognitions at the 1984 Hong Kong Film Award, including Best Supporting Actress (Anita Mui), as well as nominations for Best Supporting Actor (Anthony Chan), and Best New Performer (Maggie Cheung).
