Two New Movie Channels From Celestial Pictures Join the now TV Lineup CELESTIAL MOVIES ASIA and CELESTIAL CLASSIC MOVIES offer Hong Kong movie lovers new films and golden greats
 
  HONG KONG, April 10, 2008 ¨C Celestial Pictures and now TV today announced the Hong Kong launch of the CELESTIAL MOVIES ASIA (CMA) and CELESTIAL CLASSIC MOVIES (CCM) channels. CMA screens Asian blockbusters, while CCM features Chinese classic movie masterpieces from the renowned Shaw Brothers film collection as well as other film libraries. These top-quality entertainment channels premiere on now TV on April 15 (next Tuesday).

CMA (channel 147) will deliver more than 100 movies from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China, Thailand and Singapore every month. Some of the first to adorn now TV screens will be Cha Tae-hyun¡¯s ¡°Two Guys¡±, Erika Sawajiri¡¯s ¡°Closed Note¡±, Francis Ng¡¯s ¡°One Last Dance¡±, Kimura Takuya¡¯s ¡°Love and Honor¡±, Kwon Sang-woo¡¯s ¡°Running Wild¡± and Yuko Takeuchi¡¯s ¡°Spring Snow¡±. Other content includes sneak previews and exclusive behind-the-scenes treats.

CCM (channel 148) will broadcast some of the best Chinese cinematography ever produced, as well as the legendary Shaw Brothers film library. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, the channel presents definitive movie moments from master directors John Woo, Yuen Woo Ping, Chang Cheh, King Hu and Liu Chia-liang, as well as star actors Jet Li, Chow Yun-fat, Stephen Chow, Maggie Cheung, Andy Lau, Bridgette Lam, Gordon Liu and Ti Lung.

now TV customers can subscribe to Celestial Classic Movies for HK$21 per month (12-month contract) and Celestial Asia Movies for HK$42 per month (12-month contract).
